Add black tempera paint to a playdough mixture. Provide black pipe cleaners or yarn. Let the children create spiders using the black playdough and pipe cleaners.
SPIDER WEBS
Cut circles of black paper to fit the bottom of a pie plate. Mix thin white tempera paint. Place a marble and two teaspoons of paint on the paper. Gently tilt the pie plate, allowing the marble to roll through the paint, creating a spider web design.
