THE OWL AND THE BROWNIES
An owl sat alone on the branch of a tree,
And she was as quiet as quiet could be.
It was night and her eyes were round like this,
She looked all around; not a thing did she miss.
Some brownies crept up on the branch of the tree,
And they were as quiet as quiet could be.
Said the wise old owl, "To-whoooooo, to-whooooo."
Up jumped the brownies and away they flew,
The owl sat alone on the branch of a tree,
And she was as quiet as quiet could be.
