Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear.
Fuzzy Wuzzy lost his hair.
Then Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't fuzzy.
Was he?

Another version, sent in by Alisha. She writes: Here is how I and the rest of my class and others have learned the fuzzy wuzzy poem:

Fuzzy wuzzy was a bear a bear was fuzzy wuzzy when fuzzy wuzzy lost his hair he wasnt fuzzy was he?

Alisha continues:
I feel that this is the correct and funniest way to say this and I think everyone should start learning it this way. :)

***********************************

Five little bears were sitting on the ground.
Five little bears made a deep growling sound: Grrrrr!
The first one said,"Let's have a look around."
The second one said, "I feel rather funny!"
The third one said, "I think I smell honey."
The fourth one said, "Shall we climb up the tree?"
The fifth one said, "Look out! There's a bee!"
So the five little bears went back to their play,
And decided to wait till the bees flew away.

***********************************

The bear went over the mountain
The bear went over the mountain
The bear went over the mountain
To see what he could see!
The other side of the mountain
The other side of the mountain
The other side of the mountain
Was all that he could see!

Grandpa Bear's Lullaby

The night is long
But fur is deep.
You will be warm
In winter sleep.

The food is gone
But dreams are sweet
And they will be
Your winter meat.

The cave is dark
But dreams are bright
And they will serve
As winter light.

Sleep, my little cubs, Sleep.

~Jane Yolen~

Bears

Bears like honey
That comes from bees.
Bears like to nap
Under shady trees.
Bears can be cuddly,
Or big and mean.
My little Teddy Bear
Is the cutest I've seen.
He's at my side
When I'm happy or blue,
Here's to my Teddy Bear--
"I love you!"

~Angel A. Nettles~

The Bear Game

Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear,
Where have you been?
I've been to play with another bear friend.

Where did you go to and
What did you do?
We played a bear game two by two.

Take one step forward,
Take two steps back,
Turn all around, jump front, jump back.

This little bear game,
Is not hard to do,
Just grab a partner and you can do it too!

~Angel A. Nettles~
