Paint dried lima beans brown. Glue beans on construction paper in the shape of a
bear. Use paint, string, markers, etc. to add faces to bears. Use crayons to create
a colorful background for the bears.

PUDDING BEARS
Make some chocolate pudding. Give each child fingerpainting paper and a cup of pudding.
Use as fingerpaint to create bears.

THUMBPRINT BEARS
Have students dip their thumbs in paint and make thumbprints on paper.
After the thumbprints are dry, draw on faces and ears. Then use different size fingers
to make the characters from "Goldilocks and the Three Bears".

BEAR CAVE
Take a grocery bag. From the top cut off about 6". From the top, on one side cut an arch for a
cave opening. Fold over the top edges one time and staple. Using green paper, cut out a pine
tree and with gray paper, cut out a boulder. Glue on each side of the cave entrance. On the top
and across the bottom glue white batting as snow. On a cloud made out of white paper write
"good night bear" and glue on the top.
Cut out a bear shape using brown construction paper. Using watered down glue, let child
sprinkle coffee grounds on bear shape. Its easy and smells good!
Have a copy of Corduroy drawn on a piece of paper. Take cardboard and peel the outside layer off to expose the corrugated part. Put the picture of Corduroy over the cardboard and have the children rub crayon over his overalls. Looks like real corduroy!!
You will need to cut one large circle one medium circle and six small circles out of differnt
color contuction paper. The large one is the body, the medium one is the head and the six small
ones are the arms,legs and the ears. Then you draw a cute bear face.
