My step-dad and mother married when I was 8 years old. My father was around occasionally, but not often and never paid a dime of child support though he stole checks from my mother and accessed her bank account and cleaned it out. Larry took me as his and you don't have to carry DNA to be a man' child. He and my mother will be celebrating 27 years together in September. As I write this, he is currently laying in the hospital to await heart surgery to install a defibrillator if they can get his strength up and I will soon be on my way back to the hospital. I praise God for this man in my and my mother's life and am so happy that he knows how much he is loved. While I gladly praise my earth angel, I also ask for prayer for his health and for God to keep His hands upon him and our family. Anita Back to Our Earth Angels- Page 29 |
